The Ballas are battling with rivals (Vagos and the Grove Street Families) to control East Los Santos. The Rollin Height Ballas act as backup and control only the tiny area of Glen Park, although they are said to be expanding south, into Idlewood. The Front Yard Ballas are Los Santos' most notorious drug dealers, and Grove Street's biggest rivals. The Ballas come in two sets - Front Yard Ballas and Rollin Heights Ballas. The Ballas are the arch rivals of the Grove Street Families. The Grove Street Families control areas of Ganton and East Los Santos. The families must re-unite if they are ever to rise again. Grove Street OG's include Sweet (Sean Johnson), Big Smoke (Melvin Harris), Ryder (Lance Wilson) and CJ (Carl Johnson). Everyday, Grove Street gets weaker, and the Ballas get stronger. Whilst these events took place, Vagos and Ballas took over. The Seville Boulevard Families (controlling only a small area in south-east Los Santos) and the Temple Drive Families (located up north) have split from the Grove, so just because they're wearing green doesn't mean they are allies. The Grove Street Families have been silenced over the past few years by drugs, internal disagreements and their arch rivals, the Ballas. You can read our Respect page for more details about this system, and how you can increase it. Press Down on the D-Pad, and they will stay put until told to do otherwise. Press Up on the D-pad and your gang members will follow you. A coach or bus will hold all 7 members, where as a typical car will carry a maximum of 2 or 4. The maximum number of recruits depends on CJ's respect level. CJ can recruit a maximum of 7 members at any given time. You can recruit some gang members by pressing Up on the D-pad whilst targeting a member. Other gangs may try and take your territory, and it's up to you to defend it. That area is now highlighted green on the map. They may attack unexpectedly or in large numbers and also may attack from a car, Survive the 3 waves, and the area is yours.
Keep a close eye on the radar, and watch where the attackers are coming from. The rival gang attack in 3 waves to defend their land. Killing 3 rival gang members on foot will provoke a gang war, and the area under attack will flash red on the radar. Enter the area you wish to control, and kill every opposition member in sight. Winning territory involves gang war, and this must be done carefully. Bad, because not all sets get along, and good, because there's always plenty of backup available. In Los Santos, each of the 4 gangs are split up into different 'sets'. Each gang has its own territory, indicated by street warnings, wall graffiti, or simply violence. Look at my comment in the Weapons section Hi, i just wanted to know if it is necessary to use the jet pack when trying to find all the tags It is beter in guide form but well i like this map i have all tags found and sprayĪll tags were sprayed once and for all.no sweat for that I went through all the tag spots and they all are tagged up but it says i only have 98 done If anyone is tired of having troubles with things like snapshot's then visit it has my saved game from after the first storyline mission with a long list of completed goodies including all snapshots, horseshoe's, oyster's, tag's & much more (no CHEATER label in stats). the wall is the same colour as the tag so you have to actually go right up to it to notice it Jarrod, tag 22 is very hard to see but if u refer 2 the guide it will say that it is on a wall. I went to everyone of these locations and sprayed them, then marked them off on my list but i seem to have missed one and marked it off anyway :( so i have no idea which is the one i havnt sprayed, i have 99 sprayed but dont know where the last one is. Fortunately, I sprayedġ00 tags in my new game and didn't get hundred in the previous one.

Just one thing, in the 82a picture the building is marked as LSPD, instead of city hall, some people might be confused.
